Keepers Gathering

July 21-25th 2010

For members and those interested in learning more about Keepers.

Keepers Gathering is about bringing people together from the four corners of the world to unite, share, and bring healing to the world through prayers and the pipe.  Everyone is welcome to join us.

We will be having a loose schedule with a craft circle so bring your crafts, talking circles (subjects to be decided later), pot lucks, Sweat Lodges, Prayer Circle at the Three Maidens and Keepers Annual Meeting.

Tentative Schedule

Wednesday        12:00PM - 4:00PM Meet, great and sharing

                            sweat lodges open if someone wants to run one

Thursday           12:00PM Lunch bring your own

                          12:00PM - 4:00PM craft trading circle/ visiting

                            5:00PM pot luck dinner at Bud Johnston (Feast for the Pipes)

Friday                12:00PM - 3:30PM lectures to be announced

                            4:00PM Keepers Annual Meeting

                             5:00PM  All you can eat Indian Tacos $10.00 per person

                             7:00PM Connecting the Circle Benefit Concert tickets $10.00

Saturday            12:00PM - 7:00PM POW WOW "volunteers needed"

                             Vendor Booths available $25.00 tribal members & Keepers members

Sunday               8:00am Prayer Circle at Three Maidens

                          12:00PM - 4:00PM POW WOW "volunteers needed"

                           5:30PM Native Foods Cook Off $100.00 grand prize

                            entry fee $10.00, a copy of your recipe

                            Judges/Tasters taste all foods vote for your favorites by putting a $ amount

                            of your choice in that items jar.  The jar with the most $'s win.
