Randy Stevens, Wahpeton Sioux

Randy is a third generation pipe maker. His grandfather, Moses Crow settled in Pipestone in 1927, and worked the quarries and made items from the pipestone rock.

Randy was taught pipe carving by his cousin. Today, Randy is an active quarrier and master pipe carver.

He specializes in outstanding examples of many traditional plains pipe styles.

Randy is a member of the Sisseton – Wahpeton Dakota Nation.
