Dale Stevens is a third generation pipemaker he starting carving when he was 14 years old. Dale first learned to make pipes from his mother. It was Dales uncle Jack Crow who taught him the most about pipemaking. Dale takes special pride in making his pipes and always sands he pipes with 600 grit wet dry sandpaper. You will not find as many pipes from Dale as some of the other local carvers because he works as a truck driver most of the year. When trucking jobs are slow Dale will carve pipes to pay his bills.
