Ash Sticks must be cut from a straight stick and then immediately the soft core must be burnt out before the stick it cured for another year before it can be carved into a stem. Then once the stick is cured it must be again burnt out and because the core is so small it is a slow and laborious process. These blank are hard to find and only a few are available each year. Longer lengths are not available call to check on availability.
