You can custom build your own small 4" plains style pipe bowl. The pipe stem would be built separately. The small pipe is approximately 4" long and 2 1/2 inches high made in red pipestone.
The pipes are all unique and handmade by various native Indian artists. Product may differ from image. You can choose between straight and tapered bowls. The straight bowl is what is standard on most pipes with the tapered bowl the top is larger with the bottom smaller. The back or shank of the pipe is where the stem is fitted into the pipe bowl. Usually this part is rounded sometime the carver flattens the bottom so it will set on a flat surface. The square shank puts a rectangle on the back behind the bowl if you choose a square shank and raised rings the rings will have to be carved on the bowl. If you choose rounded the raised rings will be carved on the back or shank. The crests are always carved on the back where the stems fits and is on the top. The bear, feather, turtle wolf print and arrowhead are raised and will be placed on the back or shank facing up.
